Manipal University's International Centre for Applied Sciences announces the Twinning Programme in engineering.

Programme details
* The total duration of the engineering course is four years.

* The first two years of the course is conducted at ICAS and the remaining two years at a foreign University selected by the student.

* The Degree will be awarded by that University after the successful completion of the course.

* The course is compatible with most of the US Universities and students can take a transfer to any other University apart from those with which ICAS has twinning arrangements.

Course fees (pprox)
* Year 1 (Manipal): Rs 2,97,000

* Year 2(Manipal): Rs 2,83,000

* Year 3 (USA) US$ 15,000-25,000

* Year 4 (USA) US$ 15,000-25,000

*Tuition Fee for Year 3 & Year 4 will depend on the University to which the student is transferred. For Aviation and Architecture engineering, the first year fees would be Rs 3, 31,500/-

Laptop computers will be given to all students admitted to this course

Living expenses (hostel and food)

* Manipal: Rs 75,000 (approx)

* USA: US$ 8,000-10,000 (approx)

Eligibility
* Pass in 10+2 (CBSE, ICSE, 'A' Levels, IB, HSC, OSSD, American High School Diploma or equivalent examination) in English medium with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or 'C' grade in Physics, Mathematics and English with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects.

* Physics, Mathematics and English with Chemistry, or Computer Science or Engineering Drawing or Biology as optional subjects for admission to B Arch.

Fill up the prescribed application and send it with the following enclosures

DD for Rs 2,000 drawn in favour of "MANIPAL UNIVERSITY", payable at Manipal or Udupi or Bangalore towards the application/ processing fee
Photocopies of the qualifying examination marks card & other transcripts
Birth certificate or an examination certificate showing date of birth
Passport size photographs
Passport copy
