GLOBAL BUSINESS LEADERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

APU is pleased to announce the commencement of the new Japanese Government sponsored Global Business Leaders Development Program (GBLP) .

Run in conjunction with global corporations within Japan, the program is specifically tailored for top undergraduate students who desire to pursue a career in Japanese businesses.

First year and second/third year transfer students who are scheduled to enroll at APU in September 2008 are eligible to apply for the program. Successful applicants will receive a generous monthly allowance (126,000 Japanese yen for 2008) and full exemption from tuition fees during their 3rd and 4th years at APU.

Please note that the deadline for GBLP application has been extended to Friday, May 16. In addition to this, 2nd year transfer students applying on an English basis may also apply to GBLP if they have intermediate Japanese Language ability. (Equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level II 240 / Level III 320)
